LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A plan to charge for parking at Waterfront Park is taking shape.
A committee of three Waterfront Development board members have determined the park should charge for parking Wednesday through Sunday.
Waterfront Development President David Karem they are still working on a final cost but says it will be between $3 to $5 for three hours.
Karem says the lots will be managed by Riverside Parking and would have pay machines rather than manned booths.
The parking proposal requires final approval by the full Waterfront Development Board on August 23.
