LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- You'll need to break out your bell bottoms for this year's Thunder Over Louisville.
The theme for the opening event of the Kentucky Derby Festival is "A Disco Thunder" with a soundtrack of disco hits to accompany the annual fireworks show.
Festival president Mike Berry says they had considered disco for past year's themes but says it just felt right for this year.
Show produce Wayne Hettinger offered a preview of the soundtrack, asking people to imagine half a million people doing the "YMCA" dance in unison.
Thunder Over Louisville is Saturday, April 21.
