LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Jefferson County District Court Judge candidate has died.
Danny Alvarez died less than 24-hours after a successful primary campaign for the Jefferson County District Court Judge.
Alvarez, a father of three, led all district nine candidates with over 30-percent of the vote and was set to compete in November's runnoff election against Tanisha Ann Hickerson.
His campaign manager says he suffered a heart attack.
