KSP: Shawn Christy May Be In West Virginia

ADAIR COUNTY, Ky. -- The Pennsylvania man wanted for making threats against President Trump and Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer may have left Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police say someone fitting Shawn Christy's description broke into the home of Meyer's brother in Adair County Thursday, ransacking the refrigerator before taking a Jeep Grand Cherokee from the garage.

KSP says the plate that was registered to that jeep was picked up on a plate reader on I-64 eastbound in Huntington, West Virginia in the hours after the car was swiped in Adair County.

Trooper Nick Hale says they have no idea where he could be heading now but they aren't ruling out that Christy could be heading to Washington, D.C. to act on his threat against the president or that he could come back to Kentucky and go after Meyer again.

Hale says Christy has nothing to lose at this point and they believe he will do whatever it takes to find either Meyer or the president.
