Rand Paul's Wife Blames Booker For Harassment

Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul's wife, Kelley, is blaming Senator Cory Booker for threats and protests her husband has been dealing with this week.

In an op-ed published by CNN Wednesday, Paul said her husband had been besieged at the airport by people who yelled at him and flipped him off.

She said they were following the advice of Booker, a New Jersey Democrat, who earlier this year told people to get in the faces of some congresspeople over issues they care about.

She asked Booker to retract his statement and condemn violence.

Booker's office said his comments from July had been taken out of context by right-wing outlets and that he in no way is encouraging violence.
