Actor Kelsey Grammer Endorses Marsy's Law

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Actor Kelsey Grammer is throwing his support behind Marsy's Law, a referendum to guarantee the rights of crime victims in Kentucky.

In a newly-released TV ad, Grammer explains that his father and sister were both murdered.  He learned through a tabloid that his father's killer was released from prison.

Last week, a judge ordered election officials not to certify the results of the November referendum, saying the ballot question isn't worded sufficiently for voters.

The Kentucky Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers sued to keep Marsy's Law off the ballot.
