Sewer Bills Going Up In Louisville

(Louisville, KY) - Sewer bills are going up in Louisville. 

The Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District is raising rates by nearly seven percent. 

The rate increase approved by the MSD board Monday is the maximum increase allowable without approval from Metro Council. 

Starting Thursday, the average wastewater bill is expected to go up by nearly three-and-a-half dollars, while the average stormwater bill will increase by 68 cents.
