Papa John's Founder Suing Company's Ad Agency

(Louisville, KY) - Papa John's founder is suing an advertising firm, accusing it of secretly recording and leaking a conference call that led to his ouster.

During the May of 2018 conference call, John Schnatter used a racial slur that he says was taken out of context.

The suit claims that the ad firm and its parent company leaked the call as a way of getting back at him for an unpaid $6 million payment. Schnatter is hoping for a jury trial.
