(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky Senate Democrats are confirming that state Attorney General Daniel Cameron is formally asking the FBI to investigate former Governor Matt Bevin's pardons.
Senate Minority Leader Morgan McGarvey and Representative Chris Harris released a joint statement Thursday thanking Cameron for making the request.
Cameron responded to lawmakers saying the state constitution gives the governor the power to pardon, but that it should be used judiciously and sparingly.
