Kentucky COVID-19 Cases Spike

(Frankfort, KY) - The number of new COVID-19 cases in Kentucky has spiked. 

Governor Andy Beshear announced 147 new cases Tuesday, the most in one day. Beshear also announced seven new deaths, bringing the state total to 65.

More cases each day are showing up at long-term care facilities, as well as correctional institutions. 

The Public Health Commissioner says new test kits have arrived, but are still limited in number.
