Gov. Beshear Announces Coronavirus Testing Partnership With Kroger

The Kroger Co. Corporate Headquarters

FRANKFORT, Ky.-- Governor Beshear says the state is partnering with Kroger to test up to 20,000 Kentuckians for coronavirus over the next five weeks.

The first drive-thru testing site will begin Monday in Frankfort, with more to come in other areas in the next two weeks. The goal is to double the amount of testing the state is able to do.

The testing will be reserved for health care workers, first responders, people 65 and older, or those with chronic health conditions. The tests will be self-administered swabs.
