AG Cameron Threatens Lawsuit Over Gov's Order Banning In-Person Services

(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky's attorney general says he's considering filing a lawsuit against Governor Andy Beshear over Constitutional protections during the coronavirus outbreak.

Daniel Cameron on Tuesday asked that Governor Beshear rescind an order suspending in-person church services. Cameron says if the order isn't rescinded, he'll file a lawsuit.

Cameron said the churches are protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution and it's his job to protect the right of all Kentuckians to worship.
