Kroger Stores Announce Limit On Purchases Of Meat, Chicken And Pork

(Columbus, OH) - Kroger Grocery stores are placing a limit on the amount of fresh meat, chicken, and pork products customers can purchase at one time.

The company announced over the weekend it is implementing the policy because of issues at processing plants that have recently closed down after workers tested positive for COVID-19.

Kroger says there are no problems with the supply chain, but the limits are in place to keep stock on the shelves and allow processors time to catch back up.

Each store will post instructions for customers on the amount of each product they may buy at one time.
