Kentucky COVID-19 Cases Spike

(Frankfort, KY) - Kentucky's confirmed COVID-19 cases have spiked.

Governor Andy Beshear announced 625 new cases of the virus Tuesday. The total represents Kentucky's highest number of new cases reported in a single day.

Nearly 310 of them were from Green River Correctional Complex. 

Beshear also announced 14 new deaths, tying the second highest number of COVID-19 deaths in Kentucky in a single day.
