(Louisville, KY) - Churchill Downs has announced no fans will be in attendance for this year's Kentucky Derby.
The racetrack cites a recent uptick in COVID-19 cases in Jefferson County as their reason to revisit plans to have spectators in attendance.
The postponed Kentucky Derby is scheduled for Saturday, September 5th.
