Two Louisville Officers Shot During Protest In Stable Condition

(Louisville, KY) - Two Louisville police officers are expected to survive after being shot during demonstrations Wednesday evening. 

One officer was in surgery Wednesday night, the other officer is alert. Both are said to be stable.

Interim Chief Rob Schroeder says they were shot minutes before a curfew began, hours after the Breonna Taylor decision.

The FBI has sent in a SWAT team to assist in the officer involved shooting.
