(Louisville, KY) - Louisville's mass COVID-19 vaccination site is now open.
The drive-thru site at Broadbent Arena at the Kentucky Expo Center opened Monday. However, the vaccine won't be available to everyone for a few weeks.
For the next three to four weeks it will only be used to vaccinate health care workers and medical first responders.
Once the state starts operating at full capacity, officials will vaccinate about 1,000 people per day.
