Louisville Public Libraries To Re-open Later This Month

(Louisville, KY) - Louisville's public libraries will re-open later this month.

Mayor Greg Fischer said Thursday the libraries will re-open for "Grab and Go" access on Friday, March 26th.

Each library will use self-check kiosks to browse and select materials.

Mayor Fischer first announced the closure of all library branches and community centers on March 14th of last year in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.
