(Louisville, KY) - United States Attorney General Merrick Garland has announced a federal investigation into the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department.
LMPD has been scrutinized for the past year after the botched raid that led to the death of Breonna Taylor.
This investigation would come after Garland launched an investigation into the Minneapolis Police Department to look at whether it has a history of excessive force and discriminatory conduct.
