FRANKFORT, Ky. - Gov. Andy Beshear is enthused about the new CDC guidelines saying that fully vaccinated people in Kentucky can now go without masks in most settings.
And in a video message Thursday afternoon he promised Kentucky will follow suit, saying the state's mask mandate will change to reflect the new guidelines. He once again urged people to get vaccinated saying it's never been easier.
Beshear is scheduled to hold a briefing Friday morning to discuss the changes to the mask mandate in-depth.
