(Frankfort, KY) - Governor Andy Beshear says Kentucky's economy is on fire.

The governor is referencing the latest data on unemployment released Thursday. It shows the state posting the lowest unemployment rate in its history.

The governor says Kentucky's seasonally adjusted preliminary jobless rate for last month was 3.9 percent. That's the lowest since the Bureau of Labor and Statistics began reporting data in 1976.
